The new BINDER dynamic climate chambers bring precision and dynamic performance to demanding temperature and climate testing. The new MK CO₂ and MKF CO₂ series combine rapid temperature changes and reproducible test conditions with the natural refrigerant CO₂ (R744), making them a future-oriented choice for material, component and assembly testing.
Discover the New BINDER CO₂ Models
Rapid temperature changes, reproducible conditions and a temperature range from -50 °C to +180 °C create ideal conditions for reliable testing processes. With a humidity range of 10 to 98% RH, a wide variety of test scenarios can be carried out under defined conditions.
The new generation is designed to help you reach the next test point faster: shorter cooling phases and test cycles can potentially increase test throughput. Uniform and stable temperature distribution supports consistent conditions for all test specimens and greater reproducibility.
In terms of refrigeration technology, the new chambers rely on the natural refrigerant CO₂ (R744) with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 1. Together with comprehensive standard features, an efficient ratio of interior volume to exterior dimensions and rapid availability, this facilitates integration into existing test environments and supports cost-effective use in everyday laboratory operations.
The MK CO₂ series is designed for rapid temperature changes, while the MKF CO₂ series additionally offers humidity control. Both series operate within a temperature range of -50 °C to +180 °C and are available with interior volumes of 228, 417, 734 and 991 litres. The MKF CO₂ models cover a humidity range of 10 to 98% RH.
Available models: MK 240 CO₂, MK 400 CO₂, MK 720 CO₂ and MK 1020 CO₂, as well as MKF 240 CO₂, MKF 400 CO₂, MKF 720 CO₂ and MKF 1020 CO₂.
The extensive standard equipment includes a viewing window, casters and an access port.
The chambers are used wherever materials, components or assemblies must be tested under varying climatic conditions, including battery testing, service life tests in mobility and aerospace, and material testing in electrical engineering and industry. Thanks to their high cooling capacity, even heat-generating test specimens, such as powered electronics and components, can be reliably compensated for.
Developed and manufactured in Germany, BINDER dynamic climate chambers are designed for reliable operation and high durability.
