Schedio Expands Its Particle Engineering Power with New European Partnership

Schedio Group is taking a major step forward in particle engineering. Together with Microsize, the company is acquiring Lonza’s Micro-Macinazione (Mic Mac) facility in Monteggio, Switzerland – strengthening its position as a leading European hub for advanced particle processing.

This strategic move brings together Schedio’s cutting-edge technologies (jet mills, isolators, spray dryers) with Microsize’s CDMO expertise, creating a more agile and innovative service offering for customers. The Monteggio site, with more than 30 years of GMP micronization experience, will undergo targeted upgrades to boost containment, performance, and capabilities for high-potency and complex APIs.

With this collaboration, Schedio reinforces its mission: making particle engineering safer, smarter, and more accessible – from lab development to commercial supply.
